A friend tipped me off to this great tribute compilation album recently, all to pay homage to the late Daniel Hansson, co-founder of Elektron Music Machines. The album features a slew of great artists over 30 tracks, including Dntel, The Sea & Cake, Autechre and Cincinnati native Boom Bip. The entire album will be distributed digitally and has a $5.00 cost attached to it. All proceeds will go to the World Wildlife Fund, a cause Daniel was passionate about. Additionally, there are over 25 free songs available for download.

So not only is this for a good cause, but it gives me a reason to post this great great Boom Bip song, which is featured on the comp, featuring Ali Lee on vox, titled “Coogi Sweater.”
