Ok, so this news has been floating around the web for about a week or so now but its still worth a mention here. Alchemize, the former OTR bar/nightclub will be re-opening in Northside on Sept. 6th. The new locale for Alchemize is 3929 Spring Grove Avenue, near Knowlton Corner.
Band of Horses, Chad Vangaalen & Simon Dawes will all be performing, you can buy tickets at Shake It and Rumble Records.
Im sure most of you are already familiar with Band of Horses, but if you arent familiar with Mr. Van Gaalen, check out this song.

caught them in the bay area close to a month ago now…not really my thing, i don’t understand all the hype, but not a bad live show. Not to much happening up on stage, but it seems like they know what they’re doing
