I am always a fan of great ideas, and whoever decided it would be a good idea to team up Annuals with Manchester
Orchestra deserves a pat on the back. Both young bands have released well received albums in the past year, and now they will not only head out on the road together, but will also release a split limited edition 7-inch for fans attending the shows.
The bands have also recently covered each others material, of which you can download below. Manchester Orchestra covers the Annuals song “Brother”, while Annuals cover the MO tune, “Where Have You Been.”
The tour dates begin on October 26th in Atlanta, and can all be found after the jump…..
Annuals – Where Have You Been (Manchester Orchestra Cover)
Manchester Orchestra – Brother (Annuals Cover)
And before we get to those tour dates, you should also know that Annuals are set to release an EP soon, which will be made up of B-Sides from their excellent debut album, Be He Me. The EP will be titled Frelen Mas and in addition to the b-sides, the band also cover “Swing Low Sweet Chariot.”
