It’s been a long time coming, but today marks a pretty big milestone for the Cincinnati duo known as Bad Veins. Ben and Seb will be releasing their very first full length album today on the Dangerbird label. Over the past couple of years, these guys have been one of our favorite Cincinnati bands that we tried to put in front of as many other people as possible.
Whether it be other bloggers, friends, family or just you dear reader, ENS has proudly carried the Bad Veins torch since 2006, when we first wrote about the guys. And now, the album we have all been waiting for is finally here and I am happy to tell you that it is totally worth the wait. Even though many of us in Cincinnati will not be hearing alot of “new” songs since most of these tunes have been a part of the Bad Veins catalog since they started, hearing them packaged so nice and clean on this long player is a real treat.
And speaking of treats, this Friday night at Fountain Square, Bad Veins will be playing live and selling the new albums as well. It’s the CD release show and should be nothing short of a party.
If you are not in Cincy, please click this link and buy the album online today…
Great day for Ben and Seb indeed. And they deserve all the good vibes coming their way ten times over.
Come one, come all to the show on Fountain Square!!!
jvk: the first 50 people to buy the CD at the show on Friday will get a “dogtag”, which will give them preferential treatment at the after-party on Friday, 11 pm at the new Righteous Bar (641 Walnut Street).
