Our buddies from Bad Veins are out on the road again this spring, and again they find themselves out with a bunch of Scots. Earlier this year the guys were playing with We Were Promised Jetpacks, and starting this weekend they will continue their current tour with Frightened Rabbit.
While we aren’t sure why the guys like the company of the Scottish so much, it’s easy to see that whoever hooked these two bands up has great taste. Frightened Rabbit are out right now in support of their excellent third album The Winter Of Mixed Drinks and the hometown boys are still working their debut full length. The set of dates kicks off this Saturday night in Atlanta, Georgia at The Masquerade, and the rest of the dates are listed below along with some tunage.

I hated to miss Frightened Rabbit at Coachella, but was completely bowled over by As Tall As Lions, with whom Bad Veins just concluded a bunch of dates. Texted with Seb while out there, as it looked the guys might visit Coachella, but they ended up doing a show in LA on Saturday and they didn’t make it to Coachella after all.
Looking forward to their upcoming set at the Taste of Cincinnati, where hopefully we’ll hear new material. Their cover of the Apples in Stereo tune “Benefits of Lying (With Your Friends)” is outstanding.
