About

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.

Ive never seen Beirut live (missed them at Bonnaroo due to conflicting schedule) so I’m looking forward to this. Is anyone else as surprised as I am that this show is at Bogart’s? Not because of the venue as such, but because of the SIZE of the venue, I mean, how many people are gonna show up for this? Bogart’s holds 1,500 or so. No way this will come anywhere close to a sell-out. (The ideal venue for this show would of course be Memorial Hall.)
