Great news from across the pond concerning one of our favorite duos, Blood Red Shoes. They have just announced officially that after a string of great singles, they will be releasing their debut full length album, Box Of Secrets on April 14th in the UK. Here is a quote from Laura-Mary Carter about the album….
The album takes its name from the duo’s inter-band nuances, “It’s a phrase me and Steven have,” says Laura. “It means things that we can talk about with each other, but that we can’t share with anyone else. Sometimes one of us will say something, and then the other will be like, ‘There’s something for the box of secrets’… The box is getting pretty full now.”
The bands singles go all the way back to 2005 and now that we have a tracklisting for the album, I’m happy to see some of my favorites included. Songs like ADHD, You Bring Me Down, and It’s Getting Boring By The Sea are all on Box Of Secrets, here is the full tracklisting.
Doesn’t Matter Much
You Bring Me Down
Try Harder
Say Something Say Anything
I Wish I Was Someone Better
Take The Weight
ADHD
This Is Not For You
It’s Getting Boring By The Sea

Hope You Are Holding Up
Only bad news right now is that there is no US release date on this one. So you may have to import this one, check out a couple videos from the band below. If you happen to be overseas though, check out the tour dates the band have recently announced after the jump.

Hey!
I actually did a gig with this band in Paris two years ago when out on tour with David & the Citizens. Great band! Hope all is well with you, Joe!
Sincerely,
Sara
