Since new music releases are almost at a standstill now, it is officially time to get songs from albums that wont be out until spring of 2009. And while I like to sit on several of these, I was pleasantly surprised by the news that UK indie pop-rockers Brakes have some interesting news to share this week.

The band has signed on with Fat Cat Records, who has released great stuff from The Twilight Sad and Frightened Rabbit in the past year to put out their new album, which is due in April. The name of the new album is Touchdown, and although that is a long time to wait, you can grab a song from the album right now below, and I really like it. However, it won’t stay up too long, so get it now…….
