Memo to bands and promotion companies. *Sending Bloggers Vinyl is a good thing!*

Now, I know many promos are not going to be vinyl, and many indie bands probably dont even get them pressed, but its always a welcome surprise to get vinyl in the mail. The most recent of these was from a band Ive mentioned here in the past, Breakup, Breakdown.

These guys are making their home on Cordless Recordings, which is the undercover “indie” label of big boys at Warner. And, despite what you may consume on most blogs, the big guys are not always the devil. Breakup Breakdown are a great example. So, while I received this some time ago, the old turntable was in the shop and I hadnt had a chance to listen until recently to the two 7″ records they sent over, but its damn good. Here is an mp3 of theirs that is off the digital only EP, “Tonight”. Its a dance rocky tune I think you will like.
