Brothel Fest Preview

This weekend the East End Cafe will be hosting some great live music for an event they are calling the “Brothel Fest”. This is due to the fact that the East End Cafe was actually a brothel up until as late as the 1980s. Its hard to believe in this day and age of Cincinnati that there was an active Brothel in town in the 80s. But I digress, this weekend there are lots of great bands being showcased. Here is a preview of the fest, the lineup and the showtimes……

Thursday (tonight!)

~Ive written about these guys in the past in preparation for their set at MMS. It looks like its only a matter of time before these guys get signed and continue the Nashville streak of excellent indie bands. Here is a mp3 for you to check out from Auto Vaughn.

~If there is a headliner to this event it has to be the Chicago boys from Catfish Haven. These guys are a blast live and are touring in support of their excellent new album, “Tell Me”. Here is a tune from that record.

~ Yet another recommend due to their impressive set I caught at MMS. These guys from Lexington are a really talented group and should make Saturday night at East End loads of fun. Dodge from MOKB wrote them up today, head over there for some great tunes from a radio session they just did.
