Many thanks to the Merge blog for this excellent find of Calexico covering Arcade Fire. It’s a live cover of “Ocean Of Noise” and sounds really great. It also shows off the horn prowess of Calexico’s Martin Wenk & Jacob Valenzuela. I would expect that Arcade Fire tunes are often covered in the months and years to come, and if they are all this good than I would certainly welcome more.
