It has been too long since I wrote here about one of Dayton, Ohios best bands, Captain Of Industry. The guys had been laying low for awhile putting together their new album, which is in stores now, The Bronze. The band teamed up with Columbus based label, All Hail Records, another favorite of mine to release the record and the pairing could not be better.

The Bronze has everything you want from the COI boys, upbeat caffiene charged rockers and a few ,dare I say, “pretty” sounding tunes as well to balance things out. Frontman Nathan Peters provides his consistent songwriting, lead vocals and a little blood, sweat and tears to another great record for my favorite band out of Dayton. And when a band does a song that drops the name of former Reds third baseman Chris Sabo, how can you go wrong?

I would strongly encourage you to pick up the new album, The Bronze, from either All Hail Records, or your local indie shop here in the Cincinnati area. One of the best Ohio releases this year. Check out a couple songs from their recent trip into the WOXY.com lounge below.
