It has been alot of fun digesting the new album from Caribou the past couple weeks (who you may remember was formerly known as Manitoba). The new album, Andorra is a melodic and definite grower for me. The first song was easy to dive into, and is still probably my favorite from the album, but Dan Snaith, the man behind Caribou, also has some other excellent tunes scattered througout this album.
In addition, there is a very cool collaboration with Jeremy Greenspan of the Junior Boys on the song “She’s The One”, which continues a strong relationship Snaith has with JB. He worked with them, doing a remix on the The High Come Down EP in February 2004. And they have also shared many stages together on tour.
