Local concert goers might remember the Radiodown venue in Covington years ago. The venue was not around too long but I recall hitting a few shows when it was located above Tickets sports bar. Well, the people behind that venue later went on to open the Mad Hatter …

Our buddies from Bad Veins are out on the road again this spring, and again they find themselves out with a bunch of Scots. Earlier this year the guys were playing with We Were Promised Jetpacks, and starting this weekend they will continue their current tour with Frightened Rabbit.

If you have read ENS much, you know we don’t mind getting folked up on a regular basis. Yeah, sorry for that bad pun, sometimes I can’t resist. It’s that time of the year again. Time for the bulk of the music industry to descend upon Austin, Texas for SXSW. And that also means it’s time for several Cincinnati bands to make the trip to the festival as well, hoping to turn a few heads that might not already know about them. Whether you are headed to SXSW or just want to keep tabs on the locals playing this year, we have you covered, check out the schedule for several bands below, and let us know if we left anyone out.
