I’m a sucker for a great female vocalist. And when I find one that reminds me of Joni Mitchell, it’s a huge bonus. Of course, my trust for the judgement of Secretly Canadian records being tossed into that mix make Little Scream a must listen.

Next week, The Twilight Singers will be releasing their fifth album, and their first for Sup Pop records. One of Cincinnati’s best known music couples have a new album to promote. Over The Rhine are ready to hit the road this spring in support of their latest effort, The Long Surrender, which was released via the band’s own label Great Speckled Dog (named for the couple’s Great Dane, Elroy) label on February 8th.
