I like when events are a unique feel to them. I also like whiskey. So it’s no surprise that I really like what I see with this event. This Saturday night at Northside Tavern you get a chance to try some great whiskeys and then hear some great local music as well. The cost for the entire night is only $10 bucks, and the rumor is they will even have some finger foods to partake of as well. The tasting will feature whiskey by Red Breast, Jameson, Jack Daniel’s and Buffalo Trace.

And once you get a taste of the booze, it’s time to get a taste of the music as some great local bands hit the stage. Sacred Spirits, The Prohibitionists, Oso Bear and The Dukes are all slated to play that night, starting at about 10pm. The Dukes are up first at this 21+ event (obviously) and the whiskey tastings are scheduled to take place every half hour between 8-10pm. By the sounds of it, you will probably wanna get there a little early, this might be a popular destination on Saturday night.
