I know that I have said this before, but why is it that every time the Cincinnati area waits around for a great show to attend, there is another great show on that same night to compete with it! I mean, in the past month, there have been a couple of notable concerts, but none as big as the TWO shows taking place tonight.

Ok, rant over, now it’s time to make your choice. Tonight in our fair city you can choose to head north and see Andrew Bird and St. Vincent at Bogarts. Two amazing live acts at a venue we sorta dislike. Or, you could stay south of the river and catch Blitzen Trapper and Wye Oak. The Blitzen Trapper show at Southgate House may not bolster the double headline bill that you get at Bogarts, but it is the best live music venue in the city, and if you have yet to see Blitzen Trapper live, well, you gotta make it a priority.

So, not an easy choice, but either way you are guaranteed to see some excellent live music. Choose wisely my friends….
