It’s the start of a loaded week of live music tonight over at the Southgate House in Newport where the Round Robin tour comes to town. The Pitchfork approved bill featuring Deerhunter, No Age and Dan Deacon will not only all be taking the stage tonight, but they will be taking the stage together.

Thats right, no need to wonder who will be opening for whom, because this unique blend of three bands, which has been dubbed as a “Round Robin” tour, a concept of Deacons, should be a blast. All the bands will be on stage together alternating songs, so it’s quite possible that we get a three song set of “Nothing Ever Happened”, “Teen Creeps” and a capper of “Crystal Cat”. For fans of all three bands or just one or two, it is not to be missed. See ya tonight!
