A great opportunity to see live music tonight in Cincinnati that is not to be missed! A great bill takes the stage tonight at the Southgate House in Newport when SubPop Records artists Fruit Bats headline. After releasing an excellent record earlier this year, The Ruminant Band, Fruit Bats are out on the road in support of the album.

Joining them is the equally impressive group Iran, which (sometimes) features TV On The Radio’s Kyp Malone. No idea if Kyp will be in Cincinnati tonight or not, but you can bank on the fact that Iran will be playing lots of great stuff from their most recent record, Dissolver. So start the weekend a bit early and hit up Newport tonight for what promises to be a great show.
