Another great night to see live music in Cincinnati, this time it’s a double dose, and all under the same roof! Tonight at the Southgate House you can catch Pattern Is Movement and St. Vincent in the ballroom, and if you venture upstairs into the parlour, you can enjoy music from Frontier Folk Nebraska and Vandaveer! I cannot think of a good excuse NOT to be in Newport tonight, can you?

Just in case you need a refresher, St. Vincent is out supporting her excellent second full length album, Actor and if you have yet to see her live, prepare to not only get her angelic voice, but also a dose of her guitar shredding skills. Upstairs Frontier Folk Nebraska, who have just signed to Moon Jaw Records are worth your attention, and I might be most excited about Vandaveer, as Mark’s new album is already out overseas, and what I have heard of it is just beautiful.
