It sure has felt like a dry concert season here in Cincinnati, so I am pretty excited to break the trend tonight as John Darnielle, better known as The Mountain Goats comes to town. John will be joined by one of his new favorite bands, that we mentioned here awhile back, Bowerbirds, who are opening the show.

So be sure to hit up the Mad Hatter tonight in Covington for what I hope is a great performance from one of my personal favorite singer/songwriters.

And if you are not a Mountain Goats fan, but still really want to get out to a show tonight, we also highly recommend David Bazan (Pedro The Lion), who is playing this evening at the Southgate House with All Smiles, which is the solo project of Jim Fairchild (Grandaddy). I would really like to be at both, but in typical fashion, the only two national acts coming to town this month that I care about are playing on the same night.
