The Indie Summer Concert series continues tonight on Fountain Square, and it’s pushing things up another notch. This week, we get another great national headliner, paired with another great batch of local acts. I have to say, when that formula is used for this series, it’s difficult to stay away.

Tonight on Fountain Square, The Atriums, Goose and The Harlequins will be taking the stage, and while we are probably most excited about The Harlequins, after the release of their new album, it will be interesting to see what the other two acts bring to the table as well. But of course, we are most excited about The Wrens, an amazing band who released one of our favorite indie rock albums ever years ago, Meadowlands. The only sad part is that there has not been an album since then, and while rumors persist, there is no date for a new album.

But be happy, because no matter how you slice it, The Wrens are an amazing live band that you need to get out and see. So hit up Fountain Square tonight and enjoy live music and Cincinnati.
