A day late with the roundup this week. Mostly because you should already be very aware of the music going on this weekend at Desdemona if you have stopped by here in the past month. Tonight, tomorrow and Sunday Sawyer Point will be the place to be.

Now Im not one to recommend this but if you are the type to bounce around alot there are some options this weekend. I actually wish two of these acts were playing another weekend but I wont be leaving Des so Ill miss out.

Tonight- Birdmonster @ The Comet

Saturday Night- Pearl Jam w/ Robert Pollard @ US Band Arena.

Sunday Night- Dave Bazaan (Pedro the Lion) @ Southgate

Yeah, not bad if not for the mega lineup over at Sawyer Point. Even so, I guess we have something to do if it rains?

This is your chance Cincinnati. This is your chance to put your collective weight behind good independant music. Your chance to help put Cincy back on the map. Nick has done his part, now its our turn. Show up and stay, grab your friends and bring them down. Buy 3 day passes even if you can only make one day. I know I want to have the opportunity to preview and cover something like this again next year and for years to come. Many of you have been diehard WOXY people for years now. Im assuming you are already on board with this. I heard you cry when 97x went down and was resurrected. Hell, I cried with you. Lets not let a festival like this slip away due to lackluster interest of a Cincinnati that is a day late to appreciate what we have here. Man I hope that rain holds off.
