Clifton Heights Music Festi 300x300 Clifton Heights Music Festival Brings In Local Favorites and Promising New ActsThe Clifton Heights Music Festival returns April 2 & 3, and this time, the lineup boasts over 70 bands and artists, including Peter Adams, Buckra, The Harlequins, J. Dorsey Blues Revival, The Happy Maladies, The Pinstripes, The Flux Capacitors and newcomers No No Knots.

In response to the festival’s 1,000+ turnout in October, the festival has expanded into a two-day event across six venues in Clifton Heights .   The festival is living up to its comparison as a “mini-Midpoint”, bringing in a solid, varied lineup that represents just about every genre and niche in Cincinnati.  Each venue’s nightly lineup is a musical grab bag – indie bands follow hip-hop acts follow jazz groups follow rock bands.

The CHMF was conceived last year by founder Rome Ntukogu as both a showcase for local music and as an event to unite communities within Cincinnati.  According to Ntukogo,

“Unfortunately our city is not often known as a ‘spectator’ city, and getting folks to come to shows can get a bit difficult. We hope that presenting so much variety and talent under one event canopy will get more people to come out and support artists in this city of ours.”

Discount presale tickets are available online - $5 gets you a single night all-venue pass, while a weekend all-venue pass costs $10.  Tickets can also be purchased that weekend for $8 and $12.

Check out the full schedule after the jump.
