Benjy Ferree is preparing to release his second full length album, Come Back To The Five And Dime soon on the Domino label and is also coming to Cincinnati for a show later this month at the Northside Tavern. I am new to Ferree’s music but I’m enjoying this song already, from the upcoming album.

The song is called “Fear” and I’m hearing some strong Motown influences in this tune. Have a listen for yourself below. Come Back To The Five And Dime was produced by Ferree himself, engineered by Mark Nevers (Lambchop) and mixed by Brendan Canty (Fugazi).

The record is out February 17th on Domino.
