Brooklyn-based Harlem Shakes are making their way to the Cincinnati area, opening for Tokyo Police Club at the Mad Hatter on March 3rd. In advance of their date, here is a sampling of their new LP, entitled Technicolor Health, out March 24th on Gigantic Music, also home to ENS favorites the Walkmen.

The Shakes have definitely grown in their fast-paced, frenetic sound since their debut EP, Burning Birthdays, hit shelves. This track, “Strictly Game”, shows how they combine catchy hooks with off-the-wall instrumentation to create a fun, energetic bounce. Be sure to check them out as they make their way through town.
