By the way, Joe, even though I watched a good part of the Grammys, I somehow missed that commercial you mention. Was this a Cincinnati-specific commercial, or just a generic “Kings of Leon go on tour” commercial? Just curious.

Oh… and forgot to add in my previous post that I really appreciate KoL bringing along quality opening acts. The Whigs. We Are Scientists. Now the Walkmen. Nice! Very nice! (And one reason I can justify paying those ticket prices–it’s really a double-hearder of a show.)

Been a fan from the early days (my first time seeing them was in 2004 I think), and watching this band become bigger and better over the years has been a lot of fun (kinda reminding me how Coldplay also was that little band that could…). Seen them many times over the years. I’ve already seen them twice on the current tour (in November in DC, last month in Louisville), and you bet I will be there on May 12 when they visit our fair city. I am totally convinced that this tour is the last one they will play ’smaller’ venues in the US. Next time they come here, it’ll be at Riverbend proper, or at the US Bank Arena, mark my words!
