Pretty excited about this one, especially after the excellent album from 2007, The Stages Names. Okkervil River will be stopping into the tri-state area on April 24th for a show at the Mad Hatter in Covington, KY. I could be wrong, but I think this is the first trip for Will Sheff and company to the Cincinnati area, someone research that for me…:)

Anyway, I will not be missing this one, and I suggest you don’t either.

They’re fucking great live. I’ll be seeing them again when they play Ithaca.

I already got my tickets to see Okkervil River open for The New Pornographers in Columbus on April 11. Looks like I’ll be going to the Mad Hatter too! I saw this show listed on the Mad Hatters website, but haven’t seen an update on Okkervil River’s yet. Any clue (or guess) who they’ll be playing with?
