One of my favorite indie pop records to hit so far in 2008 is Pershing from Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. Even since the band released thier debut disc on the micro label Catbird Records a few years ago I have been a big fan, and their latest effort is a solid maturation for the band. And now, to top off that goodness, they will be stopping in Cincinnati on their upcoming summer tour.

The local gig is July 21st at the Mad Hatter in Covington.
