Here is a hot blog band that we have not really mentioned here on Each Note Secure. I cannot say I have been a big supporter or fan of Vampire Weekend so far, but they are really taking the blogosphere by storm, or at least they did in 2007 with their self released “Blu-CDR”. They are about to give that album a proper release, with two additional songs at the end of the month on XL Recordings.

And now they are hitting up the Cincinnati area as a part of their Winter tour here in 2008. Vampire Weekend are scheduled to play the Gypsy Hut in Cincinnati on February 13th. Some of the later dates for Vampire Weekend (although not Cincy) will be with The Walkmen.
