What a joke. Why would you put all of the good acts on Sunday, the day many people would be least likely to attend? I was really looking forward to the fest but now I’m not sure I will go to any of the three days. I really want to see Ghostface but there’s not much else enticing on Friday and Saturday straight-up blows. Way to fuck up something with a lot of potential. It really should have been a two-day only festival. How sad.

Ok… you know, you posted on the fest myspace and I deleted it. I don’t have the luxury of doing that here, so I’ll just tell you what a complete dick you are.

You like Sunday best? Great. I’m really sorry you can’t make it that day, but it doesn’t give you a right to act like an asshole all over the internet. What a fucking baby you are.

Those acts are on Sunday because that’s the day they’re available. Period. I have to work with agents give me. Believe it or not, indie rock acts aren’t waiting around by the phone to play Cincinnati. Getting them is a full time, difficult as hell job that I’ve busted my ass at, which is likely a great deal more than you’ve done.

But more than that, why would you be such a dick about what’s clearly personal preference? Mates of State sold out alchemize a couple months ago, so I’m pretty sure they have fans who consider them good. Stellastarr* has a huge fan base here, as does Enon, who had a really well attended Southgate House show recently. Forget Cassettes are downright amazing, as are Saturday Looks Good to Me and Aberdeen City. And Annie is a rare chance to see a pop genius in my opinion. Then there’s Ghostface, Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s.

Maybe you could try something different. Maybe you could just be grateful that someone went out FOR FREE, at huge personal financial risk, and tried to show people a fun time over 3 days.

Or just stay home. We all know thousands of people are coming down to the fest, so I’m pretty sure you won’t be missed.
