It has been awhile since I have had a chance to talk about one of my favorite bands DeVotchKa. The group has some new news this week however as they will be hitting the road this summer, mostly for the ever growing festival circuit. And wow, what a great show on August the 3rd out in Denver. DeVotchKa will be out with Ryan Adams Lucinda Williams and the Old 97s for that one. Also, DeVotchKa multi-instrumentalist Tom Hagerman created ‘The Breakfast Playground’ a solo album recently. The disc is available from the bands website.
