The sometimes maligned band Dr. Dog are back with lots of new material for ya. The jury is still out on these guys it seems as Ive found as much negative press as postive around the web. Consider me in the positive camp though as I think they put on a great live show and their tune, “The World May Never Know” still gets some play on this bloggers IPod.
The band will be coming to a smoky bar near you soon as well as starting September 7th, they will be co-headlining dates with The Cold War Kids before heading to Houston, TX on September 14th, to begin a tour as the main support for The Raconteurs. Too bad they wont be near Cincinnati, id love to take them in with either of those bands.

I think dr. dog is amazing, and im not pointing fingers but if you are reading alot of negative press (aka just pitchfork) try to make up your own mind. i hope by now the jury is back in session.
Dr.Dog is diggable. Dig’em too.
i think The Raconteurs should be the band who play support for Dr. Dog instead.
