~~Im convinced that Cincinnati is a weekend city. Getting folks out of their homes after 10pm during the working week seems to be almost impossible. As evidenced by the sparse crowd at last nights Final Fantasy gig @ Alchemize. I get a little embarrassed for us all when so few people show up for a brilliant musician such as Owen. Maybe everyone is still wasted from Desdemona, not sure.
Well, once I got past that I had a great time and enjoyed Owen’s set alot. He does some incredible things on stage looping his own material live and basically composing songs in real time as we watch. And more impressivly he does all this with the help of nobody. Owen mentioned it was his second trip to Cincinnati, the first being a visit to the CAC. “I know, nerd!” he said when referencing the downtown Arts center.
If Final Fantasy has not made it to your town yet, dont miss Owen, even if its a weeknight and you lose a couple hours sleep. Its well worth it.

I was in Cincy last night! I went to the Reds game…then got horribly lost trying to go back home to Indianapolis.
Easy drive…looking forward to coming down for some shows!
