ff Fleet Foxes announce Helplessness Blues
On a cold winter day comes an announcement and new song from Fleet Foxes. It’s fitting too, as I’ve always felt like their music calls for a wintry backdrop. The new album is titled Helplessness Blues and is getting a release on May 3rd from Sup Pop. The release of the twelve-track album will coincide with the band’s first North American tour dates since August 2009 followed by a string of UK and European dates.

The new song is available below and is the albums title track. Enjoy!

About

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.

great, great track! Can’t wait for the album proper.

I hope they’ll come closer to Cincinnati sometime later this year. Maybe we can dream and get these guys to come to Indie Summer or to MPMF?
