Most Cincinnatians remember the late night TV debut of Heartless Bastards last year, when lead singer Erika Wennerstrom quickly corrected David Letterman after he stated the band hailed from Austin. Of course, Heartless Bastards do currently hail from the live music capitol of the world, but their roots are deeply entrenched in their hometown still, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Well this weekend, television hosts get another chance to do their homework as the Bastards will be on your tube twice pushing their sound and 2009 album The Mountain. Tonight they make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and tomorrow night they take share an hour of Austin City Limits with The Avett Brothers.

Both are not to be missed, so set your DVRs just in case you have plans.
