I have already expressed my love for the 2008 release from Horse Feathers, House With No
Home here on ENS several times this year, (our #11 album of 2008) but check out those ramblings here if you are new. And now, the Portland band have dropped their debut album on us again, but this time on vinyl.
I know several of you Horse Feathers fans already have had the pleasure of enjoying this album on CD since its 2006 release. And those of you savvy enough to grab it earlier this fall when it came out on vinyl for the first time have probably already turned the page, but it was a real treat for me to snag this at Shake It Records this week and spin it on the turntable. As with House With No Home, something about Words Are Dead just sounds better on wax.
You should grab it at your local independent record store of choice, but if by chance you do not have that option, you can snag it here.
