I find it sad that the first and only comment you have left on my site is so negative. Im not going off of any specific list of new releases, I browse around and find what interests me. And that my friend, is my opinion. If only 3 albums interest me this week, I make no apologies about that. Now, id prefer something positive out of you next time around. So, if you cant muster something positive, follow your own advice….

I’m getting sick of these shopping list posts some of the bloggers do and it’s not just you. Typically you’re going off some list of new releases provided by Amazon or CMJ or I don’t know who else. But there are probably a hundred or more releases coming out this week (in jazz, folk, world, hip-hop etc) and I can’t believe you can only recommend something that’s not even new but a box set compilation.
if you can’t find a couple more excitng releases then don’t write anything at all. kind of like if you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all – I guess I should follow my own advise!!
