It seems like it was just yesterday when J Roddy Walston and the Business were getting started. These days, one of our favorite rock bands is big timing it, opening for the likes of The Hold Steady and Weezer while holding things down for a great record label.

Yep, our boys are a bigger deal than they used to be, but that doesn’t mean they have forgotten about some of their roots, and lets be honest, Cincinnati is one of the cities that embraced them early on. So get your asses down to the Southgate House tonight and see a real live rock show, complete with amazing local openers Pop Empire. You won’t regret it.

After their Cincy set, they are headed to Bonnaroo, and Rolling Stone has them as one of the bands to see.
