Oh lord, gimmie a break, fanboys. Tweedy's cover is one of the worst on the album. It sounds utterly phone in. And the songs character sound, that amazing amazing baseline, is stripped away. Face it, Tweedy is now content to make "dad music," and he continues that here. Incredibly boring.

And that Sufyawn cover?? Disgusting. He makes it overly pretentious, and kills the passion in the original.

Now, the Cat Power, John Doe, Malkmus, Jim James, and Karen O covers I can get behind. THOSE are great.
