It’s a busy night here in Cincinnati, lots of great music to be had around town. I’m sure lots of you will be heading down to the Madison tonight to catch PJ Harvey, and I can’t blame you. But if you did not get tickets, or maybe just don’t care about the show, there is a great option for you over in the Northside area of town.

Northside Tavern is already one of the best rooms in town to see a show, and tonight they are hosting a nice two band bill featuring Jukebox The Ghost and Jenny Owen Youngs. The guys from JTG have played Cincinnati several times in the past year or two, and have developed a good following with music fans in our area, so I expect a nice crowd at the show tonight. You may or may not know Jenny Owen Youngs, but you really should. Her new album Transmitter Failure is an excellent pop/rock affair that is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
