A shout out real quick to the great label, Merge Records, and a contest they are running that is quite creative and fun.

It is called the Damaged Photo Contest and the prize is a 30GB video ipod loaded with Lambchop’s complete back catalog (including rarities and video).

Here’s the rules: Entrants must submit a photo of their CD or LP copy of Lambchop’s most recent album, Damaged, in the general vicinity of something that is, in fact, damaged.

Merge will pick one lucky winner who most closely captures the concept of Damaged in their photo.

Email your pic (72 dpi jpg, no larger than 1 MB) along with contact info and the name of the store where you purchased Damaged to merge@mergerecords.com using the subject line “Damaged” or send a print photo to:
