Cincinnati or Louisville? Well this weekend both provide excellent options for music and art. In Cincinnati, the Lite Brite Indie Pop & Film Test begins tonight, some of the bands playing include Film School and White Girls. Here is a nice rundown of the Lite Brite Weekend.

Friday, 7/25:
9:00: Live musical performances by Light Pollution, Extra Golden, & Film School. Gizmos and Gadgetry in Light by Lightbornde throughout the evening.

Saruday, 7/26:
8:30: The National on Film featuring A Skin, A Night (the making of Boxer) and Takeaway Shows
10:00: The best of the Ottowa International Animation Festival
12:00: Live musical performances by White Girls (Accompanied visually by John Parker)

Sunday, 7/27:
9:00: “The Best Of The Test” Pabst Blue Ribbon Peoples choice Awards
10:00: John Waters performs his one-man show The Filthy Word, followed by a Q&A session.

And if you feel like getting out of town, the Forecastle Festival is kicking off in Louisville this weekend and that is where you can find us. Among the bands playing the fest this year, Cincinnati is represented with The Seedy Seeds & Pomegranates.
