Just got some great news from Merge Records that an M Ward gem will see a re-release this July. Duet For Guitars #2 is the foundation for Matt’s solo career and is an album all M Ward fans should have a copy of. However, it’s increasingly difficult to find since it’s original release in 2000 so it’s great to see Merge doing a re-issue.

In other M Ward news, he looks to have some new material slated for this fall as well, as the announcement of a new digital single, called “Early Morning Rain” will see a release in November.  Matt is also on the road currently with Norah Jones.
