If you are still in the dark regarding the excellent album from Mark Ronson, Version that was released earlier this year, you are truly missing out. The album consists of loads of talented artists covering loads of other talented artists. With a roster that includes Amy Winehouse, Kenna, Lily Allen, Daniel Merriwether and many more covering the likes of The Zutons, Ryan Adams and The Smiths, it is certainly worth your attention.

Nov 9, 2007Britney Spears doesn’t make my a list of artists that I even respect, but it does take balls to cover her on an album like this… and have it follow a Smiths track, to boot! “Toxic” is an absolutely fantastic track – if you’re gonna cover Brit, you can’t go wrong with Toxic.

Looks like an interesting disc! My favorite artist being covered is Ryan Adams. Amy is actually the song that got me hooked on Ryan.
