The beards are back, and it’s not like they ever really left either. The beards I’m referring to in this instance are on the faces of the boys from Megafaun, one of our favorite acts from the Carolinas. After their excellent album “Gather, Form and Fly” in 2009, the boys return with a new EP Heretofore.
It’s more of the same delicious stuff that you would expect on the EP, and to top things off today, we have video of Megafaun doing a Gillian Welch cover and enlisting the help of fellow folker The Tallest Man On Earth. What more do I need to say?
The EP is out this week from the good folks at Home Tapes.

Soothing with the guitars, but for some reason, I’m not feeling it too much…perhaps it’s the “free-form” style of singing or the audio bouncing around in the location their in.
I think this would sound better as a studio song…perhaps? =)
Love the guitar playing though…awesomeness.
