A big thanks to everyone that was a part of the Muse Scavenger hunt. It was alot of fun to put together and you guys did some serious homework getting through your tasks. Of course, not everyone can win, sadly, so I have to make a choice. First off though, here are correct answers to each task question.

Task #1 Question – The last time Muse played in Cincinnati, it was at this venue.

Answer- Well, I threw alot of you off the scent right away with this one, several people guessed Top Cats as the answer. That is incorrect. Muse played Top Cats on April 24, 2004 (I know, I was there.) They then played Riverbend in August of the same year, which is what alot of you forgot. (Source: Muse Gig Wiki)

Task #2 Question – Muse recently held a merch design contest, asking fans to submit art for their tour t-shirts. One of the runner-ups is from the Cincinnati region and is up for voting somewhere on the web.

Answer- There were two correct designs, both are acceptable, pictured below.

Task #3 Question – Muse played an amazing show in Cincinnati at Top Cats in 2004, what songs did they open and close with?

Answer – They opened with Hysteria and closed with Stockholm Syndrome.

Task #4 Question – Muse used footage from their show at Top Cats in Cincinnati for a DVD the band released later. At the end of the show (as shown in the video) what does lead singer Matt Bellamy do with his guitar?

Answer – Some pointed out that the footage of what I was asking about is from San Diego and not Cincy, but “throwing his guitar in the garbage” is the answer I was looking for, and most of you got this one correct.

Task #5 Question – Muse have had two songs hit #1 on US Alternative Rocks charts. Name those two songs.

Answer – Resistance and Uprising are correct. (Source: Muse Wiki)

And of course, the social media elements of this contest, which was not easy to track. I have to say, a few of you were eliminated by simply not retweeting one of the messages. Drumroll please….our winners are

Amy Hartman & Shannon Stout! I will be emailing you both with information.

Thanks everyone!
