Tomorrow night, Louisville’s own My Morning Jacket will be here in the Cincinnati area for a show at PNC Pavilion. It promises to be a great show, if for no other reason than the fact that MMJ is one of the best live bands around and is touring a really strong album in Circuital. But there are plenty of other reasons to get yourself down to the show tomorrow night as well, so I thought I would lay out three off the top of my head.

1. Neko Case is opening: A headliner in her own right, Ms. Case is supporting MMJ on this tour. I saw her earlier this summer at Pitchfork and her amazing voice and talented backing band bring a strong show each and every night.

2. The weather: We broke our streak of 90 plus degree days recently, and since then the evenings have been cool and refreshing. This makes for ideal outdoor concert weather.

3. Free craft beer: Before the show, if you have a ticket of course, you can treat yourself to a complimentary tasting in the Time Warner Cable Party Plaza. “Included with the price of their ticket, concert goers will be given the opportunity to sample wine/craft beer.” I’m skeptical whenever the phrase “craft beer” get tossed around these days, but check out the selections…
