I really enjoyed the debut album from Bound Stems a couple years ago, Appreciation Night was releaseed after a string of EPs from the Chicago band. And now they are just about ready for another full length album, The Family Afloat, which is due out later this year in September, once again on Flameshovel Records.

The band will be hitting the road this summer as well to test out the new material, all of the summer dates are listed after the jump here as well. During the tour this summer, you will be able to purchase the new album early however, on 12″ vinyl only. A pretty cool way to begin to get it out in my opinion…..
