In what is being billed as the first Conor Oberst solo album in 13 years, Bright Eyes has shed that moniker and supposedly his band for an upcoming release on Merge Records. The record is a self titled affair and hits stores August 5th.

Merge is sharing the first song from the record and there are little to no artistic changes in the sound on this tune, enjoy “Danny Callahan” from Bright Ey… er Conor Oberst.
